Call Waiting....

Everyday, hundreds of people; if not more, go through the same scenarios of experiencing CALL WAITING. It seems to happen everywhere you call; never speaking to an actual living person. But instead, you're left dealing with the damn recordings that have no feelings or patience.

Then, once you punch in all the options you need to speak with a rep...there it is. CALL WAITING.

Sometimes unfortunately, the inevitable happens and you get disconnected after holding on the line for 30 minutes which feels like forever. And when you try again, it's freaking busy which only adds to the frustration you're already feeling.

First comes the screaming and yelling with alot of profanities involved, directed at the phone (believe me, I've been there; we all have), then some people get so fed up that they take it out on their phone by throwing it against the wall. That doesn't solve the problem. It just breaks your phone, leaving with nothing to make the call that you can't get through to.

So what are we left with? We try again. And again. Still....on CALL WAITING.

Now, here you are waiting and waiting, for what still feels like forever, still waiting and all you listen to intermittenly between crappy music, is a recording that says,

"We're sorry for the delay. Your call is important to us. Please stay on the line for faster service."

Bullsh*t! Faster service my ass!

So what's next? You call again and are left on, guess what...CALL WAITING, yet again.

Oh, look....2016 has come and gone. And you're still waiting.

One hundred years have passed and you're nothing but bones sitting in the damn chair (or on the couch where it's more comfortable) with the phone in your hand....still waiting.

Then, the world is about to come to an end and you're literally nothing but a plie of ash....still waiting.

And then....just as there are a few seconds before the world goes BOOM....someone answers the call. But it's a recording that only says the following:

"We're sorry for the delay, but we're unable to complete your call at this time. Please try again later."

"What later, you Mother!? I'm dead!" your ghost screams out next to the phone then the line disconnects, "Nooo!" as you continue screaming out, pulling your ghostly hair, follwed by more profanities.

So what do you do when you're stuck on call waiting?

Oh, hell....I'd just say screw it and give up, because I don't want to become a pile of ash when the world ends, because I won't freaking be there anyway to answer.
