Outrageous...Outlander!

Okay, now this review might contain remarks that go against people’s beliefs and acceptance but after what I watched, I don’t care because I need to express my feelings and opinions.

So, let’s get to it.

I tried watching this series once before but I just couldn’t get through the first episode because I thought the concept was a little silly at the time but giving it a second chance, I watched it again. Okay, I got through all 16 episodes but the last episode did it for me.

The concept of the series to be honest was boring; Claire or Jamie constantly captured and saving each other from danger. It was ridiculous. But the story wasn’t going anywhere. It stayed stagnant and what’s Claire’s story exactly? What’s her purpose of going back in time 200 years!? So far, her being there hasn’t solved anything. All she does is get into trouble and yes, that time period was very difficult and at least they captured that part of that era. And she had the gift of healing through her knowledge of medicine and always seemed to talk her way out of things. But that’s it, really.

After coming there and being captured by a group of Scots, she comes across Jamie; the tall red haired gorgeous Scot. Blah-blah-blah the love story progressed as everyone knew it would. Don’t get me wrong, I wish I could go back in time and meet a gorgeous Highlander Scot but the season finale ruined the relationship between Claire and Jamie for me.

There’s also a character; the cruel and sadistic bastard, Jack Randall which was the far most hateful character I think I’ve ever seen on TV and there have been some bad ones. His addiction and sick fascination with poor Jamie was bound to unfold yes, but never in a million freaking years, did I ever expect to watch what I watched.

The scenario of Randall’s sick conquering over Jamie should have never been actually played out! They should’ve just had Claire relay what Jamie had told her but no…that didn’t happen. Instead, they spent most of the entire episode, rehashing Jamie’s memories…in full view!

What was put on screen was gay mother freaking pornography and rape! No matter how you look at it! It was vile and disgusting, and I literally got sick because of it. It was bad enough poor Jamie was tortured yes but that was the most horrific thing my eyes have ever seen. I can’t believe that the writers, producers and directors allowed this to be filmed; not to mention the actors going through with it!

I was really trying to get into the story, wanting and hoping s2 would pick up some kind of pace but now that this story has been put into play, there’s no chance that’s going to happen since I already know they’ll probably continue the flash backs through Jamie’s memories or nightmares.

The god damn LGBT community has gone too freaking far with their equality bullshit and that’s exactly what it is…bullshit because not EVERYONE accepts it and I’m one of them! I’m tired of being told that people like me are haters and freaks because I don’t accept it. If that’s the case, then so be it! I don’t care! It’s not religious beliefs either…it’s a matter of preference and natural instincts. Man and woman were created to be partners…not the same sex!

With all of the controversies over rape scenes in Game of Thrones pertaining to Khaleesi and Drogo and Sansa and Ramsey…that was decently written in my book.

I’m just very surprised the actors agreed to do that scene. It was…I can go on and on. It was anything but romantic and loving as the filthy LGBT community puts it! And the scene where Jamie’s explaining everything to Claire, come on writers…really!? Randall didn’t make love to Jamie! He raped…violated and degraded the man! The scenes between Jamie and Claire…now that’s making love because he’s loving her and vise-versa! At least that’s normal!

And how in the hell can 2 men screwing in the ass be normal and natural!? Some women I know, agree to that but the ass isn’t made for that! Enough said! Already upchucking my lunch just writing this post.

As I said, I couldn’t get past the rest of the episode especially if Jamie realized he was gay!

But I do have to say the acting on everyone’s part was fantastic, especially if some of the actors are British, putting on Scottish accents. Kudos to them there.

Anyway, my rating for Starz’s OUTLANDER is a disturbing 1 and I don’t give these often.
