My Review: The film starts with a jaw dropper…Loki and Thor come face-to-face with the all powerful Thanos; a God seeking to rule the power of all the Infinity stones. Heimdall was the first to perish and that was sad, for we’ll no longer see through his beautiful golden eyes. Idris Elba made the character his own and he did an amazing job. The second loss, was Loki. I was shocked because he’s or was, the God of Mischief and for him to underestimate an enemy, was egotistical of him. I couldn’t believe he was killed. I’ll miss him. But after Thanos destroyed all of Thor’s people, leaving him the lone survivor, my heart stopped when the shipped exploded with Thor on board because come on…he’s Thor! The Marvel films would not have been the same without the God of Thunder. As the film progressed, with all the scenes perfectly blending together, we watched as the Avengers team reunited while other unlikely teams came together in their attempts to defeat Thanos. I’ll admit, Thanos was one hell of a formidable foe and I liked that about this film because even though you had superheroes with their gadgets and toys, while others relied on magical practices, Thanos proved that all of that was useless in the end for he yielded the ultimate power. Humor filled the tense moments between all the characters and it was nicely done too; not overly focused on, making it nonsensical. The humor was natural. The special effects were literally out of this world fantastic, as always for you can’t expect anything less from a Marvel’s film. I applaud all involved whether they’re the actors or crew because hands down, it was a team effort that once again, created something awe struck and entertaining. Thank you Stan Lee! Toward the end, was my favorite when the epic battle scene between alien and Earthly beings broke out. I love the world of Wakanda and the African culture they brought to the screen, incorporating them into the film as well. I loved watching and hearing the culture come to life. But, what made me feel better was Thor appearing toward the end, wielding one hell of an awesome axe suited perfectly for the God of Thunder. Thor (who looks pretty damn good for 1500 years of age) saved the day along with a bratty teenage Groot and of course, the sarcastic Rocket. The ultimate ending couldn’t have been written better when Thanos obviously accomplished his task, by using the Infinity stones. However, that left me a little confused though. What actually happened? Once Thanos disappeared into the menacing portal yet again, only some characters began vanishing into thin air with no pain. Did he destroy the stones and the glove, or did he snap his fingers and begin the elimination process that he claimed so many times throughout the film? Then, the next scene showed Thanos admiring a beautiful view of, I’m guessing, a planet he hadn’t destroyed yet. All of that, left me confused as I said for it wasn’t truly explained. Other than that little hiccup, this film was absolutely the best of the Avengers franchise and if there are anymore in the works, I do hope the ending of this film is explained later on.

My rating for Avengers: Infinity Wars is a star struck 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Well done, everyone and keep it up!
